Decades of Dolly spectacular set to celebrate 80 years of Dolly Parton this June

One of the world’s most beloved and iconic performers is getting the five-star tribute treatment in Yeadon this June.

Get ready for a night of pure country magic as the world’s leading Dolly Parton tribute, Kelly O'Brien, brings her brand-new theatrical spectacular to West Yorkshire.

Launched specifically to celebrate the icon's landmark 80th birthday year, Decades of Dolly arrives at the historic Yeadon Town Hall for one night only.

The multi-award-winning show brings the magic of Dolly Parton's greatest hits to life in a way never seen before: created in 2026 to mark Dolly's birthday, Decades of Dolly is a theatrical spectacular celebrating seven decades of the country music icon's extraordinary life and career.

The show features Kelly performing multiple costume changes as she transforms through each era of Dolly's journey - from her humble beginnings in the Smoky Mountains to global superstardom.

Accompanied by stunning film projections telling Dolly's remarkable story, Kelly and her live band deliver all the classic hits, including ‘Jolene,’ ‘9 to 5,’ ‘I Will Always Love You,’ and ‘Islands in the Stream.’

With rhinestone-encrusted costumes, pitch-perfect vocals, and Dolly's trademark Tennessee accent, audiences are transported into the world of one of music's most beloved entertainers.

Kelly, who has spent nearly two decades touring the world as Dolly, is particularly excited to bring the show to the local area: "Yeadon Town Hall is one of those truly special venues - a Grade II listed gem that was rescued and lovingly restored by its community.

“[It] is exactly the kind of place where Dolly's story of resilience and music's power to bring people together feels completely at home."

Kelly’s dedication to the role is unparalleled. She has performed everywhere from the Singapore Grand Prix to Nashville, where Dolly's own family came to watch and were "blown away" by her performance.

Originally from South Australia but now living in Hertfordshire, the 51-year-old mother-of-two has even taught herself to play four instruments (guitar, harmonica, dulcimer, and banjo) specifically for this show to ensure total authenticity.
