Harewood House will host Yorkshire’s biggest pug meet up on Sunday, August 2, which promises a fun-filled day of wagging tails, new friendships, and plenty of adorable photo opportunities.

The upcoming event will bring together pugs of all ages and their owners together with opportunities to socialise, enjoy activities, and celebrate one of the country's most beloved dog breeds.

The event will honour much-loved photographer Cecil Beaton and his beloved companion, Simba.

Pug owners will receive complimentary entry for one owner, with the day also including a group photo, a ferry trip and complimentary puppuccinos for every pug.

The day begins with a mass pug gathering on the steps of Harewood House at 10.30am.

This will the be followed by a group photo outside the stately home.

Owners and their dogs will then board the “Captain Pugwash” ferry to the Walled Garden, where every pug will receive a free puppuccino from The Bothy.

Visitors and their four-legged friends can then explore Harewood’s grounds and gardens for the rest of the day.

Free entry is valid for one owner of the pug.

Other members of the family will need a valid day ticket or membership which can be bought in advance or on the day of your visit.
