Harewood House outdoor cinema: Full August line-up, screening times, and remaining ticket details
The UK’s flagship open-air cinema tour arrives at Harewood House this week, bringing family sing-a-longs, concert films, and sci-fi classics to the estate's lawn
Film lovers across West Yorkshire are heading to the lawn of Harewood House this August bank holiday lead-up as the UK’s largest open-air cinema tour returns to the historic estate.
Set against the magnificent backdrop of the Georgian mansion, the three-day outdoor movie showcase features six distinct screenings ranging from family sing-a-longs to iconic blockbusters.
Demand across the weekend has been exceptionally high, with several prime evening sessions already (and sadly) completely sold out.

Hosted by Adventure Cinema, the the UK’s largest outdoor cinema operator, organisers arrange over 300 open-air screenings each summer at breath-taking castles, National Trust properties, and country estates nationwide.
Known for bringing giant high-definition screens, crystal-clear stereo sound, and curate-your-own picnic vibes to historic locations, their events transform stately lawns into lively open-air movie auditoriums equipped with local street food vendors and licensed bars.
What films are screening at Harewood House this year?
August 21 kicks off the weekend in style with ‘Dirty Dancing’ on August 21 (gates 6pm), though latecomers will be disappointed to learn that the session has officially sold out.
August 22 opens with an afternoon treat for younger filmgoers as the ‘Encanto Sing-A-Long’ takes over the grounds from 12pm, though tickets for the Disney hit are now running strictly low.
That evening’s showcase at 6pm, the ‘Mamma Mia! ExtrABBAganza,’ has also sadly reached maximum capacity and is completely sold out.
August 23 offers a packed triple-header of open-air entertainment starting at 10am with ‘Bing And His Friends At The Cinema!,’ aimed specifically at toddlers and young children with remaining tickets still available.
At 2pm, classical music fans can catch the concert spectacle ‘Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration,’ which is currently close to selling out, while the weekend finishes under the stars at 6:30pm with ‘Star Wars: A New Hope,’ for which a final handful of tickets remain.
Where can I get tickets (fast) for the remaining film screenings at Harewood House?
Remaining tickets for non-sold-out screenings can be secured directly through Adventure Cinema’s official website or via Harewood House's event portal.
Because demand for the remaining sessions of ‘Encanto Sing-A-Long,’ ‘Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration,’ and ‘Star Wars: A New Hope’ is extremely high, moviegoers are advised to book immediately before the remaining allocation sells out.
Attending spectators should note that screenings take place on the grounds overlooking the main house and go ahead rain or shine.
Standard tickets do not include seating, so guests should bring low-backed camping chairs or picnic blankets.
While personal alcohol and glass cannot be brought on site, hot food traders and a fully licensed bar will be operating throughout each session.
Ticket holders can also purchase a discounted £5 upgrade at the gate to explore the Harewood House grounds, gardens, and playscape on the day of their screening.
