A soap star will finally be heading into the jungle for I’m a Celebrity. Lisa Riley had previously talked about turning down the reality show but has now accepted a spot on it.
She will be trading the Yorkshire Dales for the creepy crawlies of the jungle Down Under. Like the rest of the cast she has jetted off to Australia for series 25 of the legendary programme.

Who is Lisa Riley on I’m a Celebrity?
The actor is best known for playing Mandy Dingle on ITV’s Emmerdale. She was first in the cast of the soap from 1995 to 2001 before returning in 2019.
Mandy has been a firm favourite and has had some big storylines in recent years since her return. She was the presenter of You’ve Been Framed from 1998 to 2002 as well.
Over the years she has been a regular on Loose Women and also had stints on shows like Waterloo Road, Scott & Bailey, Fat Friends, The Bill, and Holby City,
In 2012, Lisay was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing and finished fifth that season. She has appeared on the show in years since including hosting the Friday panel.
Her return to Emmerdale in 2019 initially started as a guest stint, but became a full-time role and she has remained on the soap ever since. Although you may notice an absence in the future, due to her filming I’m a Celebrity!
She has previously talked about turning down I’m a Celeb, having been offered a spot by ITV bosses. However, in 2025, Lisa has finally accepted the offer and is part of the cast for series 25.
