Three Leeds venues to host BBC Introducing takeover this November
The event will showcase some of the UK’s best emerging talent
BBC Introducing and Leeds promoter Futuresound have announced a city-wide takeover as part of the broadcaster’s “Introducing Live” series.
The programme takes place across ten towns and cities in the UK and will take over three venues in Leeds on November 28, showcasing emerging talent.

The 450-capacity Wardrobe will host an Introducing on Radio 1 showcase hosted by Jess Iszatt, featuring bands and artists including Nxdia, Cherryhold and Precious Pepala.
In the evening, Radio 1’s Introducing Dance showcase will take over, curated by Radio 1 presenter and DJ Jaguar.
Over at Belgrave Music Hall, Radio 6 Music’s Emily Pilbeam will showcase Black Country duo GANS, alongside Group A.D., holybones, Sandhouse, La Rissa and Fashion Tips.
On Call Lane, Oporto will host a dedicated Introducing Rock takeover with Radio 1’s Alyx Holcombe. The line-up includes Alt Blk Era, Venus Grrrls, Jo From School, Hollow Bloom and DUSTHOUSE.
Joe Hubbard, promoter at Futuresound Group, said: “We’re really excited to be working with BBC Introducing to bring this event to Leeds, for the first time! It feels a very fitting partnership after our partnership on Live at Leeds together over the years.
“Between headliners Nxdia, Alt Blk Era, Gans and Jaguar, I feel there’s something for everyone. I’m also really proud of the local offering we’ve got, with strong representation from BBC Introducing Leeds & Sheffield across the bill.
“There’s been months of work behind the scenes to make it happen, so it’s a great feeling to finally release the line-up to the world.”
Tickets for the event are available here.
