Be it the sprawling open-air stages of Roundhay Park or the intimate atmosphere of our city’s independent clubs, July 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most vibrant months in the Leeds cultural calendar.
The city is truly coming alive this summer as the Sounds of the City series takes over Millennium Square, bringing stellar performances from the likes of Alabama Shakes, Tom Odell, Wet Leg, and The Human League.
For those looking to get out into the fresh air, the inaugural Roundhay Festival promises a three-day celebration of music and culture that remains a highlight of the season.
It is not just about the big festival moments, either: comedy fans are in for a rare treat as the city welcomes back superstar Peter Kay for an exclusive charity show that is set to be the hottest ticket in town, along with irreverent US podcast Comedy Bang! Bang! coming to the Glee Club this month.
Whether you are hunting for stadium-sized spectacles, a night of razor-sharp stand-up, or a chance to discover your new favourite band in a grassroots venue, Leeds is packed with variety this July.
We have rounded up 26 of the biggest and most exciting events across the city to help you plan your month and make the most of what Leeds has to offer - with tickets for many of the events available through Ticketmaster or See Tickets.
