The dust is finally starting to settle on yet another fantastic Leeds Festival weekend.
Music lovers from the city and beyond made the annual pilgrimage to Bramham Park for four days of huge performances and moments that will last a lifetime. This year’s event even made history with Kasabian headlining the first ever Thursday night line-up on August 27.
Despite the heavy rain and threats of thunderstorms, festivalgoers still had plenty to enjoy. It also avoided turning into a full-on mud bath - compared to its sister festival in Reading.

But despite the wonderful time people had at the festival over the weekend, it doesn’t mean there can’t be ways to improve it. We asked our readers on Facebook what they would change about it, if they could.
See the 11 suggestions they came up with. Can you think of any, send them by email to [email protected].

1. Change the dates to July
Claire Louise on the YEP Facebook page wrote: "Under 18s should be accompanied by an adult! And change the dates to July! So its not a wash out!" | Lana Conway/ YEP Photo: Lana Conway/ YEP

2. Better Organisation
YEP reader Lisa Ball wrote: "Better organisation and risk management to ensure all acts lined up to play have the opportunity to do so." | Lana Conway/ YEP Photo: Lana Conway/ YEP

3. Make it a rock festival again
In response to the YEP's question on Facebook, reader Becca Hart was looking back to the old days. She wrote: "Make it a rock festival again" | Lana Conway/ YEP Photo: Lana Conway/ YEP

4. Split the festival into two
Responding on Facebook, Jayx xSarahx wrote: "I’d have 2 separate events. A dance event in May. And a “festival” in August. So many paid for the DJs this year and the organisers weren’t prepared for it." | Lana Conway/ YEP Photo: Lana Conway/ YEP

5. Female-only camping area
YEP reader Hayley Windsor suggested: "I saw a post the other day which I thought was such a good idea- and it’s a female-only camping area." | Lana Conway/ YEP Photo: Lana Conway/ YEP

6. Prepare better for the weather
Replying to the YEP on Facebook, reader Jane Smith said: "Put boards down for people to walk to their camps and around, make it easier and less muddy when it's forecast rain. | Lana Conway/ YEP Photo: Lana Conway/ YEP
