Admittedly, though, for a while there, it felt like the ‘Leeds skip’ had become a standard tour requirement, with the city’s music fans often left staring at a Manchester or Halifax-shaped hole in their favourite artists' schedules.
But looking ahead to the concerts coming to the city in March, we’re in for an incredibly eclectic mixture of talent over the next few weeks.
The spoils are ours, as they say.
From arena-filling icons to the gritty, intimate showcases that define the city's DIY spirit, Leeds is reclaiming its spot on the map with a bumper schedule that leaves no genre behind - and with tickets still available from Ticketmaster, See Tickets or from the likes of Jumbo Records and Crash Records, you might be finding yourself out and about a few times in just one week.
