Leeds Rob Burrow Marathon 2026: Watch how the day unfolded - highlights and unmissable moments
We caught all the best moments from an incredible day 🎥
It was another phenomenal marathon day in Leeds - with thousands of runners hitting the streets for the Rob Burrow Marathon 2026.
Organised by the not-for-profit sporting events company Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All in partnership with Leeds City Council, the event has now raised more than £14million for MND research, as well as a host of other charities.

The Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon and Half Marathon was established to honour the legacy and raise money in the name of the rugby league legend.
Rob Burrow died in 2024 following a public battle with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) since 2019, during which time he raised millions of pounds, campaigning alongside his good friend and former Leeds Rhinos captain Kevin Sinfield.
Kevin gave a heartfelt message to the runners as he joined the 5,500 people taking part in the full marathon route - one of the stand-out moments from the event.
George Ravenhall won the marathon with a time of 2:26:33, while Will Tighe was the first of the half-marathon participants to cross the finish line.
And we heard the heartfelt stories of the people taking on the gruelling route for a cause close to their hearts.
