World Cup football fever is coming to one of Leeds’s most unique rooftop venues.

Uyare by Tharavadu is set to bring a spectacular World Cup 2026 experience to Leeds, with two big screens being installed on its rooftop at Victoria Gate.

Located on the third-floor rooftop in the heart of Leeds city centre, Uyare will be showing matches daily between 12 noon and 2am, creating a distinctive destination for football fans, families, friends and corporate groups throughout the tournament.

The concept brings together football fever, scenic rooftop views and award-winning Keralan flavours, offering guests a one-of-a-kind way to enjoy the World Cup in Leeds.

With two big screens, an atmospheric rooftop setting and the energy of live football, UYARE is creating a match-day experience unlike anything else in the city.

Guests can enjoy a selection of small tapas-style dishes, perfect for sharing with friends and family, alongside UYARE’s outstanding cocktails and a wide range of beers, wines and soft drinks.

Uyarehas quickly become one of Leeds’ most talked-about restaurants and bars. The venue has received major recognition, including Best Fine Dining at the latest Oliver Awards and the Yorkshire Outstanding Hospitality Award at the recent FB Awards, further strengthening its reputation as one of the city’s leading destinations for food, drinks, hospitality and events.

The rooftop World Cup screenings are designed to offer something different: an elevated football experience with city views, bold South Indian flavours, great drinks and a lively match-day atmosphere. Whether guests are visiting for a key fixture, a relaxed afternoon game, or a late-night World Cup occasion, Uyare will offer a memorable setting throughout the tournament.

Prakash Mendonca, spokesperson for Uyare, said: “We wanted to create something truly different for Leeds during the World Cup. Watching football on a rooftop, with scenic city views, big screens, Keralan tapas, cocktails and the energy of Uyare, will be a completely unique experience. It is perfect for football fans, families, friends and corporate groups looking for something more memorable.”
