Leeds Wellbeing Week returns for seventh year with a week of yoga, sound baths and meditation
There will be dozens of events in venues across the city
A festival in Leeds dedicated to celebrating health and wellbeing is set to hold its seventh event in venues across the city.
Leeds Wellbeing Week will return from Monday, June 1, to Sunday, June 7, and see a wide range of events and experiences, from practical workshops, yoga, sound baths and meditation to talks and discussions on mental health, neurodiversity, burnout, and workplace wellbeing.

The city-wide celebration of wellbeing will feature dozens of events across Leeds, bringing together businesses, residents, students and communities for the diverse programme of activities, workshops and talks.
Founded in 2017 by Lucile Allen-Paisant, Leeds Wellbeing Week has grown into a well-loved annual celebration of health and wellbeing in the city.
HelloHope, a Leeds-based mental health and suicide prevention Community Interest Company (CIC), is running this year’s event and is looking to help it reach even more people across Leeds.
Ellie MacDonald, founder and CEO of HelloHope, said: “Leeds Wellbeing Week is all about showcasing Leeds as a vibrant city which cares about its people – residents, businesses and students.
“There’ll be something for everyone, from practical workshops to a variety of topics discussed at talks, providing a taster of different wellbeing activities for people to try what works best for them and their workplaces.
“We’re honoured to be leading Leeds Wellbeing Week for the first time and to build on the brilliant vision that Lucile created.”

The headline sponsor this year is EGYM Hussle, a modern, inclusive fitness company that provides employees with discounted, multi-brand access to thousands of gyms, pools and spas across the UK through a single, flexible, no-contract membership.
EGYM Hussle and partners will run a series of events throughout the week; with its flagship event focused on HR and people leaders on Tuesday, June 2 at Department at Leeds Dock following a talk from Ellie at HelloHope.
Monday, June 1, kicks off the week with Nicky Lloyd Greame’s ‘Stress Less: Talk More’ networking event before the afternoon sees the Robert Fisher and Ally Foster teaching Forest Bathing in Roundhay Park.
Wednesday features Adele Hennessey-Parr from Hypnotherapy Lounge Leeds holding an event on stress management and Connect Yorkshire hosting a panel discussion at Bowcliffe Hall Estate on neurodiversity support and burnout prevention.
Audrey Zannese of Step Into Sophrology is live on Thursday at Clockwise Offices before Hussle Official showcases its partner gym Condition with a Hyrox taster session. Elsewhere, Georgie Buchanan will be providing a harp and song sound bath.
