As the first-ever norteño group to play the world-famous Coachella festival, Los Tucanes are bringing their legendary live energy - and over 25 million album sales - to the rolling hills of Roundhay Park.

Los Tucanes de Tijuana are synonymous with the boom of norteño music in the 90s and 2000s, with the release of beloved songs ‘El Tucanazo’, ‘La Chona’ and ‘Vivir de Noche’ earning praise from Rolling Stone and more.

Coming up on almost 40 years as a band, Los Tucanes will have Roundhay Park dancing away in an unforgettable summer set - and if their 25 million albums worldwide and 30 platinum records tell us anything, it’s an event you won’t want to miss.

They share a special connection with headliner Pitbull, who released a viral remix of their signature hit ‘La Chona’ last year.

The inclusion of Los Tucanes de Tijuana highlights the sheer scale of the Roundhay Festival’s ambition, blending global cultural icons with mainstream pop heavyweights.

For Leeds fans, it’s a rare opportunity to see a band of such massive international stature perform in the city’s most iconic green space.

With the Friday lineup now reaching fever pitch and Lewis Capaldi set to headline the following day (Saturday, July 4), the festival is set to be the crown jewel of the 2026 Yorkshire summer.

Tickets for Roundhay Festival are currently on sale through the festival’s official website or through ticketing agents such as Ticketmaster.
