Morley Beer Festival returns for 12th anniversary Easter weekend celebrations - date and tickets

One of Leeds’ most popular community festivals is returning this Easter, as the Morley Beer Festival celebrates its 12th anniversary with its biggest line-up to date.

Taking place from April 3 to 5, the festival - held in partnership between Morley Cricket Club and local favourites Truth Hurts Beer Co. - has grown into a landmark event for the town and a continued sell-out success story.

Supported by Morley Town Council and local businesses, the 2026 edition promises a massive selection of over 50 real ales, craft beers, and ciders. For those who prefer something other than a pint, the festival will also feature an extensive collection of gin and prosecco, alongside a rotating line-up of local street food vendors and live music across all three days.

While the beer takes centre stage, the festival remains a dedicated family event. This year features expanded kids' attractions and entertainment, ensuring the community atmosphere that has seen interest grow year-on-year remains at the heart of the weekend.

Since its inaugural event, the festival has been defined by its volunteer-led heart.

Speaking at a previous event, Stephen Barmby, President of Morley Cricket Club, noted that the festival simply couldn't happen without the army of local volunteers who transform the cricket grounds into a bustling festival hub every Easter.

The partnership with Truth Hurts Beer Co. has also been a key driver of the festival's evolution. The brewery, which rebranded in 2019 from its original 2016 "Blue Square Brewery" roots, has worked closely with the club to curate a tap list that champions both local Yorkshire microbreweries and unique one-off brews.

This ‘field-to-glass’ local focus has seen interest grow year-on-year, turning the festival into a ‘must-attend’ on the Leeds social calendar.

Noel Bullock, Public Relations Officer for Morley Cricket Club, said: “We are delighted to announce the return of the Morley Beer Festival for 2026.

It’s a proud moment for us to reach our 12th anniversary, and we’ve seen interest grow every single year thanks to the incredible support of local organisations, individuals, and the Town Council.”
