As one of the largest rare-breed centres in Europe, the historic cobbled yards are currently buzzing with the sights and sounds of newborn life, marking the start of the estate's busiest season.
The star attractions for 2026 include a flurry of newborn lambs and playful piglets, alongside curious calves and tiny chicks, and visitors can get up close to some of the UK’s rarest native breeds, including the iconic Middle White pigs and the distinctive Bagot goats.
The birthing season is still in its early stages, meaning new arrivals are expected almost daily throughout late February and March.
Visiting the farm this spring costs £9 for both adults and children (ages 3–15), while little ones under three can enter for free, with each ticket including access to the historic Home Farm as well as a session in the Play Barn indoor adventure space.
Without further ado, please welcome the first of Temple Newsam Farm’s Springtime babies for 2026.
