Former WWE superstars usher in a new era of PROGRESS Wrestling as they head to Leeds - date and tickets

Following a takeover by former WWE superstars Big Damo and Nikki Storm, the UK's premier independent wrestling promotion locks in a massive Leeds date for 'The Odyssey Tour'

British wrestling is entering a seismic new chapter, and Leeds is officially on the itinerary to experience the fallout first-hand.

PROGRESS Wrestling, the gritty cornerstone of the UK independent scene that famously helped launch global icons like Gunther, Will Ospreay, and Toni Storm, has announced a highly anticipated return to Leeds as part of ‘The Odyssey Tour’ this September.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of a monumental behind-the-scenes shift: late last month, it was revealed that former WWE superstars Damian Mackle (Big Damo) and his wife, Nicola Glencross (Nikki Storm, known to global WWE audiences as Nikki Cross), have officially acquired ownership of the company.

The pair, who originally forged their reputations on the gruelling UK indie circuit before achieving worldwide fame in America, are returning to their roots with an ambitious mission statement: to restore PROGRESS to its status as the number one independent wrestling promotion on the planet.

"We both started in the UK and Ireland and fully believe this is host to the greatest talent pool on earth," Big Damo said following the takeover. "Our job now is to guide PROGRESS through the coming years, identify new talent, and integrate them with the current phenomenal roster."

For local fans, the September showcase promises a return to the high-octane, intimate atmosphere that defined the golden era of British wrestling - backed by the immense global credibility and industry connections that Damo and Storm bring to the table.

With the new owners aiming to build a "transatlantic pipeline" for the next generation of indie talent, the Leeds card is expected to feature a heavy-hitting mix of top-tier domestic athletes and elite international imports.
