It is the biggest day of the year for vinyl junkies this Saturday, as Record Store Day 2026 is officially upon us - bringing with it hundreds of limited-edition, highly sought-after records that will have collectors queuing around the block as it does every year.
The golden rule of Record Store Day is simple: first-come, first-served.
You cannot pre-order these exclusives, meaning fans will be setting their alarms and camping out early to get their hands on the most limited pressings.
If you are hoping to strike gold, the city's two legendary independent strongholds - Crash Records on The Headrow and Jumbo Records in the Merrion Centre - will both be throwing their doors open bright and early at 8am on Saturday.
Because both stores have distinct customer bases, their final shelf stock will vary slightly based on what the distributors actually send them in the dreaded allocation lottery.
However, both are expected to carry the biggest heavy hitters of the day.
So what are we going to be queuing up for this weekend and getting our grubby crate-digging mitts on?
Here are our 15 Record Store Day releases we’re braving the elements for this Saturday morning.
