30 years after the release of her landmark album ‘A Few Small Repairs,’ American singer-songwriter Shawn Colvin has confirmed she will bring her anniversary tour to Leeds.
The rare UK and Ireland tour celebrates three decades of the 1996 classic that defined Colvin's career, as the album’s lead single, ‘Sunny Came Home,’ was a global smash, famously scooping the Grammy Awards for both Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year in 1998.
With a career spanning thirteen albums and three Grammy Awards, Colvin has established herself as one of the most revered voices in the contemporary folk and singer-songwriter genres.
The tour marks a significant milestone for the artist, who first stopped the industry in its tracks with her 1989 debut, Steady On.

Fans at the Leeds show can expect an intimate evening of "extraordinary songs and mesmerising guitar playing" as she revisits the canon of work that made her a mainstay of the industry.
Speaking about her return to the UK, Shawn said: "I’m very excited to be playing shows right across England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Ireland this time. It’s always a pleasure to perform for all of you across the pond.
“The welcome I receive wherever I go is always so lovely and quite humbling."
