A sixth celebrity has waltzed away from the ballroom floor on Strictly Come Dancing. The cast continues to be whittled down on the road to the glitterball trophy.

The remaining stars took to the dance floor last night for the seventh live show of series 23. Despite no-one scoring a 40, the leaderboard was extremely competitive at both the top and bottom.

But who was in the bottom two, and who left Strictly this weekend? Here’s all you need to know:

What did the leaderboard look like on Strictly?

It was not a themed week on the ballroom this time around, after the Halloween special seven days ago. The celebs took on songs from artists such as Taylor Swift and even Queen.

After the scores from the judges, the leaderboard on Saturday night (November 8) looked like this:

• Amber and Nikita - 38
• Lewis and Katya - 35
• Karen and Carlos - 35
• George and Alexis - 34
• Balvinder and Julian - 34
• Alex and Johannes - 30
• Harry and Karen - 30
• La Voix and Aljaž - 29

How is the bottom two decided on Strictly Come Dancing?

Once again the overall result is based on a mixture of the scores from the judges and the public vote. These two are combined together to give an overall score and once that has been worked out, the celebrities who are at the bottom of the table then face the dreaded dance-off.

When it comes to the dance-off, the decision to leave is left solely to the judges. However, in a twist for 2025, the head judge does not always have the casting vote - which will separate the two celebrities if the votes are tied after the dance-off.

For series 23, the casting vote is being rotated around the panel and for week seven Motsi Mabuse had it. But would she need to use it?

Who was in the dance-off in Strictly week 7?

The bottom two for this week were revealed during the results show tonight (November 9). It saw Gladiator favourite Harry ‘Nitro’ Aikines-Aryeetey and RuPaul Drag Race UK star La Voix fall to the bottom.

It matched the scoring from the judges - looks like the public agreed this week! But fortunately for the bottom two, they still had one more chance to save themselves.

La Voix did a Foxtrot to Make Your Own Kind of Music by Cass Elliot. Meanwhile Harry performed a Samba to Samba by Gloria Estefan.

Who left Strictly Come Dancing in week 7?

Following the dance-off in tonight’s result show (November 9), Harry ‘Nitro’ Aikines-Aryeetey became the sixth celebrity to leave Strictly in series 23. It was another unanimous decision with Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood and Shirley Ballas all deciding to save La Voix.

Motis Mabuse had the casting vote this week, but once again it was not needed. However, she said she would have also voted to save La Voix.

Speaking after his exit, Harry said: ““I just want to thank Karen, genuinely, you have given me an opportunity to shine. You’ve understood my crazy brain.

“I’m such a logical person, trying to dance – and obviously doing what I do: Olympic sprinter, Gladiator – now I’m trying to be a dancer.

“I just want to thank you so much for the time and effort, the hard work that you’ve given to me. You show up, you turn out. I want to thank everyone here. Literally, this has been a dream come true. This is a celebration.”
