The Rasmus announce Leeds date as part of huge European tour - date and tickets

The Rasmus have announced a massive 23-date headline tour for 2027, bringing their high-energy stage show back to the UK and Europe - with a must-see date confirmed for Leeds

Finnish rock legends The Rasmus have confirmed a return to Yorkshire, announcing a headline show in Leeds as part of an extensive UK and European tour.

Following an immensely successful run across 2025 and a packed 2026 schedule, the 6x Platinum and 8x Gold-certified alternative rock outfit are hitting the road again in 2027.

The 23-date tour will see the band showcase tracks from their acclaimed new record, Weirdo, alongside a career-spanning set of classic anthems and hidden hymns.

The tour announcement coincides with the ongoing success of their gripping current single, “Break These Chains,” which features Niko Vilhelm of fellow Finnish rock icons Blind Channel.

Co-written by frontman Lauri Ylönen alongside revered hit songwriters and producers Marti Frederiksen and Desmond Child, the toxic-love-themed, anthemic melody has quickly become a firm fan favourite on the Weirdo tracklist.

Speaking of its popularity, Lauri stated, “The Weirdo album has resonated deeply in our fanbase. It’s about being accepted the way you are. This has also been visible at the live shows as the fans have been dressed up to show their inner weirdos. It’s been a very fun and uniting feeling!”

The major tour announcement follows a highly active global circuit for the band. After joining the European summer festival circuit - performing at major events like Nova Rock, Resurrection Fest, and Masters Of Rock - The Rasmus will embark on a full South American tour later this year, playing iconic venues across 11 major cities, including Bogotá, Lima, Santiago, and Buenos Aires.

Last summer, the band also made headlines by performing a landmark charity concert in Ukraine. Headlining the Atlas Festival, they stood as the only foreign artist at the event, performing in front of over 110,000 people under rigorous security conditions.

The historic event successfully raised over $2.5 million to help fund Ukraine’s air defences.
