Leeds crowned among the top 'underrated' cities in the UK - beating Glasgow and Liverpool
Leeds has been hailed as a ‘guaranteed good time’
Leeds has been named one of the best ‘underrated’ city breaks in the UK, beating Glasgow, Bristol and Liverpool.
We already know how exceptional our city is for a night out, with its wealth of independent bars, pubs and restaurants leading the scene.
And now travel magazine Time Out has recommended the city as the best place for night owls in the entire country - and fifth on the list of the most underrated city breaks in the UK.

Time Out said the city is a “guaranteed good time” - and highlighted some of the best venues in the city, from live music at the Brudenell Social Club and jazz at the Domino Club, to Highland Laddie, which was recently crowned the best boozer in Britain.
They added: “For fully letting loose, descend on Call Lane, the city’s prime place to party.
“Leeds can do wholesome, too. Keep an eye out for the family of meerkats in Roundhay Park, browse crafts at the Corn Exchange and set your eyes on world-renowned artworks at the Henry Moore Institute.”
The list put Leeds above Glasgow, Liverpool, Bristol and Bath for a city trip - and crowned our city the most underrated in Yorkshire, beating York and Sheffield.
