With exactly six days to go until the biggest sporting event on earth kicks off, Leeds is gearing up for a spectacular summer of football - the FIFA World Cup.
The action officially gets underway on June 11, with the opening match kicking off at a highly viewer-friendly 8:00pm BST, as one of the three hosts this year, Mexico, take on South Africa in Group A.
For those looking when the home nations play their first game, Scotland take on Haiti on June 14 (2am BST), while England’s all-important first game in Group L against Croatia takes place on June 17 at 9pm BST.
Whether you are looking for a massive 1,000-capacity fan zone with live brass bands, a sun-soaked riverside beer garden, or your favourite neighbourhood local, the city has pulled out all the stops - but beware, the popularity of a number of these places may lead to making a booking, so check with the respective location if tickets are required to avoid disappointment...
… and missing the first few minutes of kick-off too.
Here are our picks of 14 locations around the city where you can experience all the thrills of the 2026 World Cup.
