WWE Monday Night Raw: UK start time, matches announced & has anything been announced for Elimination Chamber?
The Road to WrestleMania is officially underway for two huge names of the WWE Universe after last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
By virtue of winning the Men’s Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns is now entitled to receive a title shot of his choosing at the Showcase of the Immortals in Las Vegas later this year, but the reasons for his decision, ultimately, were based on personal bad blood rather than more achievements and recognition.
We already acknowledge our Tribal Chief, right?
As Reigns came out to address CM Punk on last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, he explained that this was more than him winning a championship or proving his mettle in the business, but instead a matter of respect - because, as far as Reigns is concerned at this point, he hates CM Punk.
For good reason too - the long, storied saga involving CM Punk walking out of the WWE in 2014 was brought up by Reigns, who referenced specifically a podcast CM Punk undertook after leaving the company in which Punk would explain the creative team behind-the-scenes always wanted Roman to ‘look strong.’
Which, for better or worse, trickled into the minds of a fanbase already sceptical of the 'chosen' corporate leader, turning a vocal portion of the audience against Reigns' organic rise for years to come."
That, according to Reigns, made his life harder than it already had to be, and coupled with stealing his ‘Wise Man’ (Paul Heyman) and Punk disrespecting him after they teamed together last year, was all the more reason for his choice.
Hatred is a very strong motivational tool for our Tribal Chief, it would seem.
What time is WWE Monday Night Raw starting in the UK this evening?
It’s a late start-early finish once again for UK fans of the WWE.
This evening’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw is scheduled to start at 1am GMT on Netflix on January 10.
For those who can’t stomach another late night after the Super Bowl, you can watch the entire show on demand shortly after the conclusion of the live broadcast.
What has been announced so far for WWE Monday Night Raw?

Alongside scheduled appearances by World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Rhea Ripley, the following has been announced for this evening’s episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix.
WWE World Tag Team Championship: The Usos (Jimmy and Jey) (c) v Alpha Academy (Akira Tozawa and Otis)
The reunited Jimmy and Jey Uso make their first title defence of the WWE World Tag Team Championships after beating AJ Styles and Dragon Lee for the titles back in December.
Meanwhile, two weeks ago, Adam Pearce set up a Fata 4-Way #1 contenders match featuring The New Day, The Creed Brothers, Los Americanos and Alpha Academy, which saw Otis and Tozawa earn the victory and a shot at the legendary tag team.
This is a make-or-break moment it feels for Alpha Academy; Otis and Tozawa have spent much of the last year as a ‘comedy act,’ but they've explicitly stated their goal for 2026 is to be taken seriously as a top-tier threat.
Taking on the most decorated team in WWE history is their chance to prove they aren't just a punchline
Maxxine Dupri v Nattie
This is a classic Teacher vs. Student story that has turned bitter, after Nattie spent months mentoring and training Maxxine to help her transition from a manager to a serious competitor.
The relationship fractured on the January 19 episode of Raw. During Maxxine’s Women’s Intercontinental Title match against Becky Lynch, Nattie shockingly turned on her protégé, costing her the championship.
The heat intensified at the Royal Rumble, where Nattie personally eliminated Maxxine, effectively telling her she wasn't ready for the big time
Maxxine is out for revenge and to prove she has outgrown her mentor’s shadow, while Nattie seems intent on proving that without her guidance, Maxxine is nothing.
Elimination Chamber qualifying matches begin
With Roman Reigns officially choosing World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk for WrestleMania 42, the road to the Grandest Stage of Them All for the rest of the roster now runs through the Chamber.
These matches will determine who enters the structure in Chicago. Rumours suggest that with Drew McIntyre holding the Undisputed WWE Championship, the winner of the Men's Chamber will likely earn the right to face him.
Keep an eye on Bron Breakker and the faction The Vision, after Breakker’s recent rampage since his early elimination from the Royal Rumble and will likely be desperate to bully his way into a qualifying spot.
Have any matches been announced for WWE Elimination Chamber yet?
While we know that there is set to be a Men’s and Women’s Elimination Chamber match taking place later this month, we are only now starting to see the line-up for both matches fill out.
Randy Orton punched in his ticket to the hellacious structure after defeating Solo Sikoa and Aleister Black on the most recent episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, while Tiffany Stratton has declared her intention to enter the chamber after defeating Lash Legend and Chelsea Green.
No other matches have been announced, but there is speculation of a potential triple threat match between Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu (unless they run with that match at WrestleMania 42) and potentially CM Punk (the hometown hero with Elimination Chamber taking place in Chicago) defending the World Heavyweight Championship against a recent foe that’s emerged into the title picture - Finn Balor.
