THEY are used to playing some of the biggest venues in the country - but now The Sherlocks are returning to their roots with a huge “old school” 30-date UK tour at the end of the year.
Tickets for the Everything Must Change! 29 date tour go on general sale at 10am on Friday, August 22, available from all venues and via www.thesherlocksmusic.co.uk.
It begins at Manchester’s Albert Hall on October 10, including dates in Glasgow (Nov 21) and London (Nov 26) , with Yorkshire gigs in Holmfirth (Nov 13), Leeds November (14) and finale in Hull on December 20.
The South Yorkshire band will perform for hometown fans next summer when they headline a day long festival , with guests including rising stars Sunderland’s Tom A Smith and fellow Yorkshire acts The Denabys and Skylights, plus more names to be announced, at Kelham Island’s Sheffield Steel Yard, on Saturday June 27, 2026 - tickets on sale at https://tickets.thesherlocksmusic.co.uk/events/thesherlocks/1776828
The Sherlocks have become one of the most exciting live bands in the UK. Selling out tours across the UK & Europe, they have achieved remarkable chart success with five UK Top 20 albums: Live for the Moment (#6), Under Your Sky (#20), World I Understand (#9), People Like Me & You (#4) and their latest release Everything Must Make Sense! (#4).
Fresh from summer appearances at Tramlines festival in Sheffield and Castlefield Bowl in Manchester, frontman Kiaran Crook, his brother and drummer Brandon, lead guitarist Alex Procter and bassist Trent Jackson will bring all their hits to the 2025 tour - including top tunes from this year’s top four hit album Everything Must Make Sense!
Kiaran said: “This is a proper throwback tour for us. An old school Sherlocks tour where we’re hitting everywhere and getting back in amongst it.
“We’re a live band; this is what we love to do. Getting back in those rooms and connecting with real people is where it’s at!”
He added: “This is the most extensive tour we’ve been on since our debut album came out in 2017. We’re absolutely buzzing to see the fans up close and personal. You can’t beat that raw energy of tearing the roof off with the songs and everyone just going nuts!
“This time we’re even hitting places we’ve never played before, which for a band that’s been touring coming up to 10 years is something special!
The tour is a prelude to the band’s big 2026 summer show at Steel Yard, Kelham Island in Sheffield.
No strangers to supporting grass root music and not a band to hide behind backing tracks and gimmicks, the independent four-piece played hundreds of small gigs before breaking through with debut album Live For The Moment in 2017.

In 2021 they returned as part of campaign to help venues struggling after Covid restrictions.
And with five albums, including three Top 5 hits, under their belts, The Sherlocks have formidable set of songs including Chasing Shadows, Falling, Sirens, Man on the Loose, Death of Me and Will You Be There?
Kiaran said: “The tour is going to be a real celebration of the new record now that everyone’s had time to learn the songs. We want to play a lot of this new record, obviously mixed with the old classics. These gigs are going to be absolute carnage!

“These shows will sell out pretty quick and they’re certainly not to be missed, so get involved grab your tickets!”
This tour sees The Sherlocks follow in the footsteps of good pals and fellow Yorkshire band Shed Seven who they supported on a big winter tour up and down the country last year.
Joining The Sherlocks on tour will be special guests Bristol/London band The Jacques, whose second album Make Repetition! is released on September 5.
The Jacques lead singer Finn O’Brien said: “Can’t wait to get on tour with the mighty Sherlocks, bringing this music to life and playing places that we’ve never played before.”
