Donation to Wakefield hospital charity to support patients and staff
Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire has continued to support the communities where it builds by making a donation to the My Hospitals Charity, which supports The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust.
The Trust provides hospital and community healthcare services in Wakefield, Pontefract and Dewsbury, serving more than half a million people every year in their homes, in the community and across three hospital sites, including at Pinderfields Hospital, Wakefield.

The housebuilder, which also has its Head Office in Wakefield, donated £250 to the charity to help their work supporting patients and staff.
Spokesperson for My Hospitals Charity, Emma Dickens, Associate Director of Charity and Partnerships, said: “We are always grateful for donations and the generosity of businesses such as Taylor Wimpey, our patients, relatives, staff and members of the public who support our hospitals.
"Our charitable aim is to enhance services provided by the Trust for the benefit of patients or towards the benefit of staff, which will result in improved patient care.
“We do have a hub at Pinderfields Hospital in the main atrium, and people are more than welcome to stop for a chat with one of our staff members if they want to know more about our charity's mission, upcoming events, or to make a donation, or they can visit our website.”
Sam Evans, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, said: “At Taylor Wimpey, we’re committed to making contributions that support the communities surrounding our developments, and it’s important to us to support a variety of charities and causes.
“The work of My Hospitals Charity cannot be underestimated in the positive difference it makes to the health and care of every person in the local community.”
Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire is currently building at Newland Grange in Wakefield, offering a mix of two, three and four-bedroom properties, including 41 homes designated as affordable housing.
