Endo Gala at Rudding Park Raises Over £11,000 for charity
The inaugural Endo Gala took place on Friday 20th March at Rudding Park, bringing together a community of supporters, advocates, and guests for an unforgettable evening focused on raising awareness and funds for endometriosis.
The event was created by Molly Woodward, who lives with endometriosis herself. At just 24, and without any prior experience in event planning, she independently organised the evening, making its success a true reflection of her passion and commitment to the cause.

Since the event, Molly has begun building a dedicated team with a shared vision of creating meaningful change in the space, with plans to grow the initiative even further.
Thanks to the generosity of those in attendance, an incredible £11,331.62 was raised on the night, with more donations still coming in. Funds were generated through ticket sales, a silent auction, and raffle games, all in aid of Endometriosis UK.

A deeply moving element of the evening came from the powerful personal stories shared by Jess Hankinson, Rachel Deane, and Eleanor Deane. Their honesty and courage left a lasting impression, helping to highlight the realities of living with endometriosis.
Guests also benefited from expert insight provided by local consultant gynaecologist Winston Justin, who spoke about the condition, its symptoms, and the importance of early recognition and diagnosis.
Emma Cox, CEO of Endometriosis UK, travelled from London to attend and delivered an engaging talk about the charity’s work, while emphasising the continued need for greater awareness, improved diagnosis, and stronger support systems.
The evening was hosted by Isabelle Smith, known for her role as Frankie in Hollyoaks, who brought warmth and energy throughout. Entertainment was provided by Ellie Sax and Dolce Strings, adding to the atmosphere of the night.

The organisers would also like to extend sincere thanks to the event sponsors, Reward Funding, First Event, HYL Restoration Ltd, 2PM Financial Services Ltd, P-A-W-S, Keith Jones, and Charlotte Dawson, whose support was instrumental in bringing the event together.
Reflecting on the evening, Molly said, “This is only the beginning. I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved and excited to continue creating events that raise awareness and support those affected by endometriosis.”
The Endo Gala team is passionate about driving real change, and welcomes support from others who share that vision. Anyone who feels they could contribute or get involved is encouraged to get in touch with Molly. Her contact details can be found via the website or through the Endo Gala’s social media pages.
Following the success of its first year, the Endo Gala is set to grow into an ongoing initiative, with the aim of continuing to unite communities behind a condition that affects 1 in 10 women.
