Leeds-based PAC UK celebrates fifth consecutive Outstanding Ofsted rating
PAC UK, the Leeds based headquarters of Family Action’s national adoption support service, is celebrating after securing its fifth consecutive Outstanding Ofsted rating, making it the only adoption support agency in England to achieve this record.
Inspectors praised PAC‑UK’s team for delivering exceptional, compassionate support to adopted adults, birth relatives and families seeking help with accessing birth records or navigating contact. The report found that PAC‑UK’s services “significantly improve outcomes” and reduce emotional distress for the people they work with.
Ofsted found that PAC‑UK offers warm, personalised support that really meets people’s needs. Inspectors praised the team’s strong safeguarding, the thoughtful help they provide during contact between adopted adults and birth relatives, and their close working relationships across the region. They also highlighted the service’s supportive leadership and positive team culture. No improvements were recommended, showing just how strong the Leeds service is in every area.
