Leeds care home donates to community group
A care home in Leeds has made a generous donation to a local organisation.
As part of its commitment to the surrounding community, Care UK’s Seacroft Grange has presented Seacroft Green Residents Association with £400.

The volunteer-run group is committed to making the local area a great place to live through a Neighbourhood Watch scheme and a number of projects designed to improve the surrounding environment and protect the historic village green.
The 10-person committee meets regularly and hosts an AGM that Seacroft residents are welcome to attend. It will use the funds donated by the care home on The Green to help with costs towards equipment needed for meetings.
Lily Woods, Chair of the Seacroft Green Residents Association, said: “We are delighted with this generous donation as it will go a long way to support our work in the community.”
Eve Moran, Home Manager at Seacroft Grange, said: “We’re thrilled to be supporting a local community group whose philosophy aligns so closely with ours here at the home.
“Supporting the Seacroft community is central to our values, and we are delighted to contribute and encourage the residents’ association to continue with their vital efforts to make this part of Seacroft a great place to call home.
“We’re dedicated to working with the local community and the fantastic groups in the area, and we’re looking forward to continuing to show our support.”
