Over 20 venues in Leeds and dozens more across the UK have seen events promoted by Mutant Movement, with Gary Woodhouse playing marathon DJ sets. At other times, Gary has kept the dancefloor going with tribute bands, warming up for the headliner or with an afterparty until the early hours.
Although Mutant Movement 'discos' are billed as Retro Alternative, the theme of the sets played varies each time, some focusing more on the classics and some playing the tracks from the underground that became anthems outside of the charts.
To mark the milestone 200th event whilst still only in its 10th year, Mutant Movement CC will take place at the world renowned Brudenell Social Club from 3-9pm on Saturday July 4.

This will be a one off where the lesser known tracks won't get a look in as it's bangers all the way, playing the most popular songs from 100 or so of the artists people have come to know Mutant Movement has played in previous sets.
With regular events themed around particular years, celebrating 35, 40, 45 and 50 year anniversaries, you can find details of upcoming daytime discos at The Backroom, Leeds in April, June, October and into next year as each event is announced at mutantmovement.com.
