Lane7 set to bowl Leeds locals over as it confirms new bowling alley at Trinity Leeds
One of the UK’s largest boutique bowling brands is set to arrive at Trinity Leeds this Spring.
Lane7 has announced its expansion into the city, taking over the former Wilkos site on Albion Street, with the 23,000 square foot space promising to “introduce a bold new entertainment playground to the city centre, bringing together Lane7’s signature mix of high-energy games, premium design and social experiences.”
Guests can look forward to a massive variety of activities beyond just standard bowling, with 12 state-of-the-art bowling lanes featuring interactive elements to celebrate every strike.

The venue will also offer something for those who aren’t quite the “Kingpins” of bowling, with activities including darts, pool tables, beer pong, gold simulators, a curated selection of classic arcade games and what is being called an “interactive Playground.”
Speaking about the new location, Gavin Hughes, Managing Director at Lane7, said: "Everyone knows Leeds is one of the UK's great nights out, and Lane7 is a venue where you can have all your best nights in one.
“It's the perfect match. We can't wait to get the doors open.”
Lane7 was founded by Tim Wilks in Newcastle in 2013. The company transformed the traditional, tired bowling alley model into a high-end, city-centre social experience, offering competitive gaming, cocktails, and karaoke, which rapidly expanded across the UK.
The Leeds opening is a key part of Lane7’s expansion across the North, with further venues already planned for Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Steven Foster, Centre Director at Trinity Leeds, noted that the venue reinforces the city's position as a leading destination for innovative, experiential brands: “The arrival of Lane7 this spring marks a fantastic addition to Trinity Leeds and represents exactly the kind of dynamic, experience-led brand we are proud to offer our visitors.
Its unique entertainment concept brings an exciting new dimension to our leisure offering, enhancing the experiences available at the centre.”
The arrival of Lane7 this spring is part of a larger evolution at Trinity Leeds, joining recent big-name additions like Freight Island, Footasylum, and an upsized LEGO store.
