'Supermarket Sweep' style student event returning to Leeds with £100 shopping sprees and massive discounts

Students across Leeds are set for an unforgettable start to the academic year as Trinity Leeds brings back its popular 'Student Shopper Sweep' event.

Inspired by the classic television show ‘Supermarket Sweep’, the free shopping event will give lucky students the chance to race around major high-street stores in high-energy, five-minute sprees to fill their baskets.

Alongside the fast-paced competition, attendees will be able to bag exclusive discounts of up to 30 per cent off major fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands, alongside live DJ sets, freebies, and food deals across the centre.

Up to 25% off will also be available at selected dining and entertainment venues, including Trinity Kitchen vendors, Nando's, and Wagamama.

How does the £100 Shopper Sweep work, and what is the schedule?

A new £100 winner will be selected every 30 minutes between 12:00pm and 7:00pm to take part in a five-minute shopping spree at a designated store. The full participating store timeline includes:
