Immersive dinosaur-themed adventure golf venue opens doors at White Rose Leeds
Boasting prehistoric courses, interactive electric darts lanes, and a licensed bar, Volcano Falls has officially launched on The Balcony
White Rose Shopping Centre has expanded its entertainment lineup with the official opening of Volcano Falls Adventure Golf, a massive new immersive leisure destination.
Designed by parent company Funstation, the prehistoric-themed venue transports players into an ancient world featuring highly detailed sets, atmospheric lighting, spatial sound effects, and dramatic landscapes.
Located upstairs on The Balcony, the new attraction features two distinct 12-hole themed adventure golf courses, including Volcano Valley - a deep dive into a prehistoric landscape packed with animatronic dinosaurs, smoking volcanoes, towering tiki heads, and ancient jungle ruins - and Carnival, a colourful, high-energy course loaded with nostalgic funfair-inspired obstacles, neon lights, and playful trick shots.

Beyond the greens, the venue has been built to capture the evening social market, introducing three interactive digital darts lanes.
The augmented darts setup features popular group game modes including Around the World, Robin Hood, Killer, and Lives, backed by a fully licensed bar serving drinks and refreshments.
The South Leeds opening builds on the long-standing regional success of Funstation’s sister venue in Castleford, which has been operating at Xscape for more than a decade, as it continues to shift its focus toward becoming a full day-out leisure destination over recent years, expanding its outdoor play areas, cinema, and upper-level dining options.
James Miller, CEO of Funstation, said: "We're delighted to have opened Volcano Falls Adventure Golf at White Rose and to already be seeing such a positive response from visitors.
"Following the continued success of our Castleford venue over the past ten years, we're excited to bring the experience to White Rose and extend it to even more visitors across the Leeds area."

“White Rose is a true day-out destination, with a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment on offer for visitors of all ages, and Funstation’s immersive proposition is sure to be a hole-in-one.”
Volcano Falls is officially open to the public daily on The Balcony, catering to family days out, date nights, and corporate social events. Online bookings and group packages can be secured directly through the official website.
