Shaun The Sheep is coming to the White Rose Centre for an all-new, free half-term trail
Leeds families are being invited to join a ‘flock’ of a different kind this May as Shaun the Sheep takes over White Rose Shopping Centre
White Rose Shopping Centre is set to become a bit more ‘farm-iliar’ next month as it welcomes the Shaun the Sheep: Fun with the Flock augmented reality (AR) trail.
Starting on May 1 and running throughout the month, the free adventure brings the world-famous Aardman characters to life in 3D right in the heart of the shopping centre.
Families can hunt down nine different markers hidden throughout the centre, with each one unlocking an interactive scene using a smartphone, allowing kids to complete challenges with Bitzer the dog or pose for photos and videos alongside the animated cast.

To join the adventure, families can begin by downloading the ‘Fun with the Flock’ app and entering the specific location code 2503.
Once the app is ready, participants should head over to the Guest Services team to collect their free Shaun the Sheep headband and a trail map to help guide them through the centre.
If you prefer to go "old school," you can also complete the trail manually without the app, and everyone who finishes the hunt is rewarded with a sticker prize, while adults who sign up for the centre's PLUS+ reward scheme can enter a draw to win a £100 gift card.
Although the trail is available throughout the month, several key dates during the school holidays should be noted for those wanting to catch special events.
Fans can meet Shaun the Sheep in person on May 27, while official Aardman clay-modelling workshops will be held on May 28 and 29, offering a hands-on chance to learn how to build iconic characters.
Those who are members of the PLUS+ reward programme should watch their inboxes, as they will receive exclusive first access to tickets for both the character appearances and the modelling workshops.
Ashleigh Kellett, Deputy Centre Director at White Rose, said the centre is "excited to partner with Aardman" to bring the trail to Leeds.
"As well as the trail, guests will also be able to enjoy interactive art workshops, character meets and stunning art sculptures of Shaun the Sheep," she added.
"It’s the perfect destination for a fun-filled family day out this half term."
