North Leeds Charity Beer & Music Festival returns to Roundhay after hitting incredible £100,000 milestone
The popular community event, organised by the Rotary Club of Roundhay, returns this April with 36 real ales, live music, and family-friendly activities.
A staple of the North Leeds social calendar is set to return this spring, as the North Leeds Charity Beer & Music Festival prepares to take over the North Leeds Cricket Club next month (April).
Following a hugely successful 2025 event, which raised £16,500, the festival has now officially raised more than £100,000 for local, national, and international charities since it first launched in 2012.
Real ale enthusiasts can look forward to a curated selection of more than 36 cask ales from some of Yorkshire’s most celebrated breweries, including Kirkstall, Leeds Brewery, Rooster’s, Ossett, and Daleside.

For those who prefer something different, the festival also features a dedicated gin and prosecco bar, alongside a variety of alcohol-free options.
The food lineup is equally local, featuring the famous Setchfield Butchers pork pie and peas, and Mrs Singh’s renowned samosas.
The festival marquee and clubhouse are set to become a vibrant hub of live entertainment, hosting a diverse range of performances across both days of the event.
The 2026 lineup promises something for every musical taste, featuring the grand, sophisticated sounds of the Stroke of Genius Big Band alongside the high-energy sets of Elevation Avenue and Topaz.
Fans of vocal harmony and classic hits can look forward to the Pop ‘n’ Rock Choir, while those seeking a more soulful or atmospheric experience can catch Kinda Blue and Scott and the Antarctics.
Rounding off the eclectic bill are the Swamp Donkeys, ensuring a lively atmosphere that spans genres from big band swing and jazz to indie, rock, and blues.
While the Friday evening (5pm–11pm) offers a traditional festival buzz, Saturday afternoon (from 12pm) is designed with families in mind. Younger visitors can enjoy face painting, craft activities, and safe play areas.
Children are admitted free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult, and well-behaved dogs on leads are also welcome to join the fun.
The funds raised at the festival reach far and wide. Locally, the event supports vital organisations such as Martin House Hospice, St George’s Crypt, and Leeds Dads.
Internationally, the Rotary Club works with partners like the Rotary Club of Lausanne in Switzerland to fund sustainable projects, including Frank Water and Sightsavers.
Headline sponsor Ian Short, Managing Director of Morley Glass, commented: "It’s a fantastic community event that brings people together while raising funds for important charities and community projects."

If you prefer to decide on the day, tickets will also be available at the gate for £15, though these are subject to availability.
For those who aren't planning to drink but still want to soak up the atmosphere and live music, a reduced-rate non-drinker entry is available for £5.
It’s also worth noting that the festival is very family-friendly; children can attend for free as long as they are accompanied by a paying adult.
