The full line-up for the second annual Temple Newsam Food Festival has been revealed, featuring major headline acts and a brand-new entertainment arena

Organisers of the Temple Newsam Food Festival have announced the full live music line-up and entertainment programme for their second annual celebration.

Taking place beside the historic Temple Newsam Estate on August 15 and 16, the festival will feature two brand-new tribute acts headlining both evenings alongside a diverse selection of soloists, duos, and community groups.

The main stage is set to host a diverse array of talent throughout the weekend, culminating in major headline tribute performances each evening. Saturday’s schedule features breezy saxophone covers from Wil Forrester, music and dance duo Old Time Rags, and acclaimed vocalist Sienna Craven.

The line-up also includes high-energy covers and original tunes from The Johnny Storm Band, alongside punk and rock covers from Gumbox. The evening's headline performance comes from The Soul Shebang, an acclaimed eight-piece tribute celebrating the legends of soul music, before the first day concludes with a set of Ibiza favourites from Ibiza Sax Classics.

Sunday’s programme begins with vibrant saxophone covers from Will Forrester, followed by up-and-coming vocalist Jess Forrester and a performance from community group Lucy's Pop Choir.

The afternoon sees a shift in genre with Irish folk band The Hooliemen and the vintage blues, swing, and jazz sounds of the Leeds City Stompers, alongside emphatic solo guitarist Danny Charles.

The festival draws to a close with a headline set from The Bootleg Bee Gees, who bring a renowned tribute to the group's greatest hits, followed by a final appearance from Ibiza Sax Classics to see out the weekend.

Beyond the music, the festival is introducing a brand-new arena and a series of eccentric family contests. One of the most notable new attractions is the ‘Inflatable Banana Jousting Ring’, which invites competitive festival-goers to engage in a series of light-hearted duels with inflatable bananas.

Also making its debut for 2026 is ‘The Sizzling Showdown Arena’, which will host a lively series of challenges and contests that are completely free for ticket holders. This new space will feature the ‘Foodie Olympics’, which has been repurposed for bigger crowds with new games and enhanced audience participation.

For daring attendees aged 18 and over, there is the ‘Chilli Challenge’, a classic eating contest, while the ‘Family Dog Show’ offers wholesome competitions for beloved family pets.

Assistant Festival Manager Izaak Shuttleworth said: “Heading into our second year, one of our biggest goals is to expand our offerings wherever possible.

“We’re introducing some of our most exciting, outside-of-the-box ideas yet, with the hopes of creating a unique experience for everyone who walks through our doors this August”.
