'Dad, you are missed every day': Pair jailed for manslaughter after Wakefield drive-by shooting
The daughters of a man who died after a drive-by shooting in Wakefield have told how he is ‘missed every day’ as two men have been jailed for manslaughter.
Adam Ahmed, aged 21, of Robin Hood Crescent, Wakefield, and Marc Carter, aged 20, formerly of Dunbar Street, Wakefield, were both found guilty last Thursday (March 12) of the manslaughter of 50-year-old Dale Stogden, who was known as Brett.
They also previously admitted conspiracy to supply Class A drug offences.
They were both sentenced to a total of 12 years' imprisonment.

A third man, Leyton Davies, 28, of no fixed abode, was found guilty of murder and is due to be sentenced on May 15.
He is remanded in custody until that date.
In statement, Mr Stogden's daughters, Alyssa and Piper, said: “The past seven months have been a challenging time for my sister and I, after the death of our dad, Dale Stogden, known to many as Brett.

"Over the course of the trial, we have had to re-live and hear the full details of what occurred on that evening of August 12, 2025.
"On behalf of my sister and I, we would like to thank everyone in securing the convictions of those responsible for taking our dad away from us.
"We would like to thank the prosecuting counsel as well as West Yorkshire Police, the investigation team and our supportive family liaison officers, DC Clare White and DC Jan Burrill.
"We would also like to thank our family, friends, and the wider public, for all the kindness and support that they have shown towards us, and our Dad.
"It means a lot to us all. Dad, you are missed every day.”
