Learning to drive has become increasingly expensive, but a new giveaway is offering thousands of learner drivers the chance to get behind the wheel for free.
Learning to drive has never been cheap, and with the average cost of lessons continuing to climb, getting a full driving licence can feel out of reach for many young people. Now, a new nationwide giveaway is aiming to ease some of that financial pressure by offering thousands of free driving lessons.
The initiative, from e.l.f. Cosmetics and RED Driving School, will see up to 5,000 learner drivers receive a complimentary one-hour driving lesson, giving beginners the opportunity to gain valuable experience behind the wheel without paying the usual fee.
With many learners needing dozens of hours of tuition before they're ready for their practical test, this prize could seriously help reduce the overall cost of learning to drive. The giveaway also comes at a time when learner drivers continue to face rising costs, from paying for lessons and theory tests to covering the practical driving test and insurance once they pass.
The campaign, called the 'Grip, Set, Go' initiative after el.f.’s Power Grip range, will run until July 31. All you have to do is apply via the e.l.f. website and then, after the closing date, driving lesson vouchers to successful entrants.
The campaign's name, 'Grip, Set, Go', actually draws inspiration from two of e.l.f.'s top-selling products: the Power Grip Primer and Power Grip Dewy Setting Spray, both priced at £11, and both available to buy now via the e.l.f. website.
For many, getting a driving licence can make day-to-day travel significantly easier, and it may also open up greater employment opportunities. So, this could be a great help towards going from learner to fully qualified driver.
Further details on entering the draw for free driving lessons with RED Driver Training, or purchasing products from the e.l.f. Power Grip range, can be found on the e.l.f. website.
- Please note, delivery charges may apply.
