If overheating regularly disrupts your sleep, Simba's new technology has been designed to help keep sleepers cooler for up to eight hours.
There are few things more frustrating than finally getting comfortable in bed, only to wake up feeling far too hot a few hours later. If overheating is a regular part of your summer sleep routine, a new mattress innovation from Simba could be worth knowing about.
The sleep brand has launched HeatRelease, a new cooling technology exclusive to Simba in the UK that has been designed specifically to help tackle excess body heat while you sleep.
Rather than relying on a fan or hoping that opening the window will make a difference, HeatRelease works within the mattress itself. Precision graphite cooling strips work alongside graphite-infused Simbatex foam and Simba's breathable spring architecture to draw excess heat away from the sleeper.
According to Simba, the technology can help keep sleepers up to 4.4°C cooler and maintain an ideal sleep temperature for up to eight hours. It is also designed to start drawing heat away within 20 minutes.
For anyone who regularly wakes up in the night feeling too warm, that could be an intriguing prospect, particularly as UK summers continue to bring more heatwaves and those uncomfortable 'tropical nights'.
HeatRelease builds on Simba's existing Hybrid mattress technology, which combines responsive foam with microsprings to provide support while encouraging airflow.
The brand's patented Aerocoil microsprings are at the heart of its Hybrid mattresses, with the design developed using body-profiling data from more than 10 million people.
Now, Simba is adding temperature management to that approach, creating a mattress designed not only around comfort and support, but also how hot you feel during the night.
HeatRelease comes as standard on Simba's flagship Hybrid Ultra, which also features two layers of graphite-infused Simbatex foam, a PureLift™ comfort layer, Stratos cool-touch cover, FusionCool™ layer and SupportCore™ spring system.
Prices start at £1,749 for a Single, rising to £2,999 for a Super King.

The new cooling technology isn't limited to Simba's most premium mattress.
HeatRelease is also available as an optional upgrade on the Hybrid Luxe and Hybrid Pro, giving shoppers the option to add the technology to different mattress designs.
The Hybrid Luxe is the plushest option of the three and combines Aerocoil microsprings with graphite-infused Simbatex foam, a breathable bamboo-infused wool layer and Steel SupportCore springs. Prices with the HeatRelease upgrade start from £1,998 for a Double.
The Hybrid Pro combines Aerocoil spring technology and graphite-infused Simbatex foam, with the cooling technology available as an upgrade. Prices with HeatRelease start from £1,498 for a Double.
All three mattresses also come with a 200-night trial, giving shoppers plenty of time to decide whether the mattress suits their sleep preferences.
For anyone who finds themselves waking up too hot, kicking off the covers or struggling through restless nights, one of them may be an investment worth exploring.
After all, while you can change your bedding, open a window or turn on a fan, your mattress is the one thing beneath you for the entire night.

☀️ Summer may be fading, but this deal is scorching. The TOG24 Jacinda Women’s Supersoft Jersey Playsuit has plummeted from £50 to just £8, saving shoppers £42 in a huge 84% reduction.
💗 Made mainly from soft viscose and cotton, the bright pink playsuit features an elasticated drawstring waist, back-button fastening and two handy hip pockets. It’s an easy throw-on outfit for holidays, warm weekends or getting next summer’s wardrobe sorted ludicrously early.
⚠️ The catch? Only selected sizes are still available, and an £8 clearance price is unlikely to help them hang around. Check whether your size has survived here.
