The ventilated blue chair is designed to improve airflow during warmer working days while offering adjustable height, fixed armrests and a supportive padded seat
Warmer weather can make working from home feel particularly uncomfortable, but this breathable mesh office chair could be just what you need to keep the heat off your back during long days at the desk - and it’s been reduced by almost 40 per cent during the hottest part of the year so far.
The blue Tate Mesh Office Chair is currently in a summer clearance sale at Office Furniture Online, a company that specialises in products for office, home, and educational settings.
Its curved backrest is made from breathable mesh rather than thick padded fabric. This allows more air to circulate behind the user, which could help reduce the warm, sticky feeling associated with sitting against a heavily upholstered chair during summer.
A mesh chair will allow body heat to escape more freely than a solid-backed alternative. That may make the Tate especially appealing to people working in bedrooms, loft offices and other spaces that become uncomfortable as temperatures climb.
The seat is still foam padded for comfort, so users are not sitting directly on a mesh surface. Its front edge has a waterfall design intended to reduce pressure beneath the thighs and support more comfortable circulation while seated.
Gas-lift height adjustment allows the chair to be raised or lowered to suit different desks and users. Setting the seat at the correct height should make it easier to keep feet supported and position arms more naturally when typing.
Fixed armrests provide additional support, although they cannot be raised, lowered or moved out of the way. But the Tate does have a reclining tilt mechanism. This can be left in a free-flowing setting for more natural movement or locked in the upright position when a firmer working posture is preferred.
Its five-star base is fitted with twin-wheel castors, allowing it to move around a floor, and it’s recommended for users weighing up to 118kg, equivalent to approximately 18.6 stone.
The Tate is delivered flat-packed and requires self-assembly. It comes with a 24-month manufacturer’s guarantee, offering additional reassurance beyond the initial purchase.
Free next-working-day delivery is offered for orders placed before 11am.
