Holbeck and Hunslet - separated by just four miles - are the focus of this trip down memory lane which rewinds to the 1940s. The 15 photos showcase well-travelled streets and feature local landmarks and foster a sense of grime and dirt at the heart of the community. The images are a mix from West Yorkshire Archive Service and others published courtesy of photographic archive Leodis, which is run by Leeds Library & Information Service.
