Leeds United look set to launch their 2026/27 away shirt on Thursday morning as excitement builds ahead of another big summer. The club’s official X account posted a teaser on Wednesday, with a quick video of five people walking across the countryside, the first of which is twirling a scarf.
At the end of the video, a retro 1990s Leeds crest and Adidas trefoil logo pop up, both of which are expected to feature on next season’s away shirt. The release is set to come at 8am on Thursday morning and as anticipation builds, the YEP has ranked each of the club’s last 15 away-day designs.
Leeds have nailed the brief in recent years but it hasn’t always been that way, with some unusual offerings not living long in the memory of fans. Some have been assigned to big moments in recent years while others have simply been consigned to the history books. Take a look at the rankings from 15 down to 1 below.

Not traditional by any means but unlike others of the Macron era, this looked super slick. The almost neon yellow - including on the badge - was a really nice contrast to the black. | Getty Images

8. 8th: 2012/13
This felt more 'Packard Bell' blue than 'Strongbow' blue but looked pretty sharp with the collar. Became Leeds' third shirt the following season. | Getty Images

9. 7th: 2015/16
The simplest of designs from Kappa but that's what made it so nice. A decent shade of yellow and, for the only time in this ranking, no front-of-shirt sponsor. The collar was a bit dodgy though. | Getty Images

The Pablo at Swansea shirt. Charcoal grey and pink has never been traditionally Leeds, but it looked super sharp. Part of a shirt's history are the memories created in it - and what better recent memories are there? | Getty Images

Another shirt that didn't quite hit the shade of blue but design-wise, this was a beauty. The tie dye print on the shirt was really cool, coming the year before that not-so-good example from 2022/23. | Getty Images

12. 4th: 2016/17
Kappa's best away shirt, with a great shade of blue and nice yellow touches on the sleeve and collar. The sponsor was a bit of an eye-sore but most are. | Getty Images
