Leeds United look set to launch their 2026/27 away shirt on Thursday morning as excitement builds ahead of another big summer. The club’s official X account posted a teaser on Wednesday, with a quick video of five people walking across the countryside, the first of which is twirling a scarf.
At the end of the video, a retro 1990s Leeds crest and Adidas trefoil logo pop up, both of which are expected to feature on next season’s away shirt. The release is set to come at 8am on Thursday morning and as anticipation builds, the YEP has ranked each of the club’s last 15 away-day designs.
Leeds have nailed the brief in recent years but it hasn’t always been that way, with some unusual offerings not living long in the memory of fans. Some have been assigned to big moments in recent years while others have simply been consigned to the history books. Take a look at the rankings from 15 down to 1 below.

Designed by Leeds fan Ed Cowburn of Acid FC, this design went non-traditional for colours but it worked a treat. The Peacock print was inspired. | Getty Images

14. 2nd: 2025/26
The most recent season's away design harked back to the early 2000s Strongbow-sponsored beauty - and Adidas did a great job. The all-yellow Red Bull sponsor also looked much better than having anything with red on. | Getty Images

15. 1st: 2024/25
A masterpiece. The shade of yellow, the 1970s smiley badge, the slick collar, the all-blue sponsor. This shirt broke sales records and for good reason. It's probably why next year's design is expected to go retro too. | Getty Images
