Leeds United’s 2026/27 home campaign gets underway on Sunday when they host Brentford in the Premier League. The Whites have enjoyed an encouraging start to the season with back-to-back victories over Nottingham Forest including in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
Goals from Daniel James and James Justin secured a 2-0 cup win and they return to West Yorkshire full of optimism, albeit still without a few key first-team players. Visitors Brentford have been equally fast off the mark this season, beating Tottenham Hotspur 3-0 last weekend before a 6-1 Carabao Cup thumping of Birmingham City.
Sunday’s game between two of the Premier League bright starters is set to be an intriguing affair at a packed out Elland Road. And ahead of that meeting, the YEP has rounded up the latest team news including confirmation of a recent exit for the away side.
