Leeds United vs Liverpool updates as Brenden Aaronson and Dominic Calvert-Lewin lead comeback
Leeds United round off their US pre-season tour against Liverpool in Chicago this evening.
Leeds United’s pre-season tour of the US comes to an end tonight when they face Liverpool at Soldier Field in Chicago.
The Whites picked up their opening win of the summer on Thursday, a 1-0 victory over Sunderland coming via Lukas Nmecha’s early strike from distance. New signing Tarik Muharemovic was particularly impressive on the night as Daniel Farke's side defended well to keep a clean sheet.
That leaves Leeds with one win and one defeat so far this summer and they will be keen to end their US tour with a positive record. Tonight’s opponents Liverpool, however, have two wins from two across the Atlantic, having already beaten both Sunderland and Wrexham.

Leeds remained without a few key players against Sunderland on Thursday, most notably striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin who is managing a minor issue. Jaka Bijol is in a similar position while Noah Okafor has been given an extended break following his World Cup experience with Switzerland.
But new signings Muharemovic and Harry Wilson have both been given plenty of chance to settle into their new surroundings, with the former particularly impressive against Sunderland. The Bosnian defender caught the eye of watching fans and received huge praise from boss Farke.
Leeds fans at Soldier Field will hope to get another glimpse of both new signings tonight, with Farke expected to name another pretty strong line-up as the 2026/27 campaign edges closer. There may also be a smattering of academy prospects, with the promising Callum Mills starting against both Wrexham and Sunderland.
Tonight’s game kicks off at 9pm UK time. Stay tuned for build-up, team news when it drops around 8pm and matchday coverage...
