Leeds United booked themselves an FA Cup semi-final place after beating West Ham United 4-2 on penalties, following a dramatic 2-2 draw. The Whites were two goals up going into added-time in normal time thanks to goals from Ao Tanaka and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but contrived to hand their hosts a lifeline.
After Matheus Fernandes and Axel Disasi scored, Taty Castellanos and Pablo Felipe both saw goals ruled out for offside and the game went to penalties. Lucas Perri saved twice while successful spot-kicks from Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Brenden Aaronson, Willy Gnonto and Pascal Struijk sent the Whites to Wembley.
Leeds, who now play Chelsea in the semi-finals, will enjoy their triumph tonight but focus will quickly turn back onto survival, with seven Premier League games left starting at Manchester United a week on Monday. Below, the YEP takes a look at how the run-in will go for Daniel Farke’s side and their rivals.
