'Celebrating Armley's Creative Spirit': Community festival returns with packed live music line-up announced
Mik Artistik headlines a stacked lineup of local talent on Armley Moor this weekend as the free-to-enter Armley Festival returns to celebrate the neighbourhood’s creative spirit
Armley Moor is set to become a buzzing hub of live music, family activities, and local food this Saturday as the beloved Armley Festival returns to West Leeds.
Designed as a celebration of neighbourhood pride and grassroots culture, the free-to-attend community gathering brings together independent traders, community stalls, and a stacked afternoon of live performances on the main stage.

Beyond the music, it offers a prime chance to show the rest of Leeds the grit, warmth, and spirit that makes this neck of the woods such a special place to live - regardless of any unfair reputation that might occasionally linger.
Leading this year’s musical showcase is iconic Leeds showman Mik Artistik (performing with Mik Artistik’s Ego Trip), bringing his renowned blend of sharp-witted observational comedy, funk, and high-energy rock to the Moor.
The main stage will also feature high-octane sets from post-punk outfit Dulakes, indie-rock group Tiger Island, and local act Lonan.
A final local act is set to open the stage to kick off the afternoon's festivities.
Organised by Armley Action Team alongside local councillor Lou Cunningham, the annual event remains entirely free to ensure every family in West Leeds can enjoy a full day of entertainment. Beyond the live music stage, visitors can expect a wide array of local food vendors, craft stalls, and children's activities running throughout the afternoon.
When is Armley Festival taking place?
Armley Festival takes place on Saturday, 12 September on Armley Moor, located along Town Street in Armley, West Leeds (LS12).
Music and family activities will run throughout the afternoon, with community organizers encouraging residents from across the city to come down and support West Leeds’ creative talent.
