Having gone from successful club nights to become one of the biggest dance festivals in Europe, Creamfields have announced that they are set to champion a new generation of electronic artists, with the launch of its new record label, Creamfields Recordings.

Partnering up with Manchester-based music and culture company NQ, who operate across records, publishing and management, the label looks to champion emerging sounds from across the great electronic spectrum, and to support, develop and elevate newer electronic artists.

The label is also set to provide a dedicated space for their roster to release music and collaborate creatively, with a shared ethos that “world-class music and creativity can come from anywhere” and focusing on artists first.

In their announcement, Creamfields wrote: “What began in 1992 as Cream, a 400-capacity club in a disused warehouse in Liverpool, has grown into a cultural phenomenon, laying the foundations for modern dance festivals worldwide through its award-winning flagship event – Creamfields.

“Creamfields Recordings will build on this legacy [...] and reach audiences on a global scale. The label will champion sounds from across the electronic spectrum, offering artists the opportunity to grow within one of the most respected ecosystems in dance culture. “

Speaking about the formation of the label, Michael Adex, NQ CEO and Founder, revealed that “ joining forces with Creamfields, a powerhouse born from the same spirit, feels like a natural evolution. Together, we’re creating a future-facing label dedicated to discovering and developing breakthrough talent, elevating fresh voices onto one of the biggest stages in global dance and youth culture, and building meaningful careers with music that resonates worldwide.”

Though the label has announced that their first release will come out this Friday (November 20), they’ve remained tight-lipped over who their first release will be; however, those who want an early heads-up and learn more about the ongoing events with Creamfields Records can sign up to the newsletter through their official website.
