Belgrave Music Hall has unveiled the line-up for its 11th annual Dark Arts Halloween showcase, bringing 11 hours of post-punk, darkwave, and glam-pop to the city

Belgrave Music Hall has officially revealed the line-up for its flagship Halloween tradition, as Dark Arts returns to the city for its 11th edition.

Taking over the Cross Belgrave Street venue, the multi-stage event promises 11 continuous hours of live music spanning post-punk, darkwave, dream-pop, and theatrical glam.

Since its inception, Dark Arts has earned a reputation as one of the North’s premier showcase events for breaking alternative talent - having previously hosted early-career sets from the likes of Yard Act, English Teacher, Fat Dog, and bdrmm.

Heading up this year’s bill is London post-punk powerhouse Heartworms (Jojo Orme). Signed to Dan Carey’s revered Speedy Wunderground label, Heartworms has rapidly built a reputation as one of the UK’s most formidable live performers.

Fresh off the acclaim of her debut studio album Glutton for Punishment, Orme’s stage presence is legendary for its military-precision energy, cold-wave synths, and driving, gothic-infused basslines.

Joining her at the top of the bill is Glasgow’s theatrical glam-pop outfit Walt Disco.

Returning to the Dark Arts stage following the release of their cinematic second album The Warping, the Scottish quintet are renowned for delivering dramatic, genre-fluid live sets that merge baroque pop flourish with queer-punk defiance.

The wider bill delivers significant depth across the 11-hour takeover. Highlights on the undercard include London dream-pop duo deary, whose atmospheric soundscapes have earned them widespread acclaim via Sonic Cathedral, alongside Anglo-Maltese psych-rockers ĠENN and art-punk project The Healing Power of Horses.

Emerging regional acts Gossip Queens and Lonnie Gunn round out the initial announcement, with further live acts and late-night DJ sets expected to be added in the coming weeks.

Beyond the music, attendees will have full access to Belgrave’s multi-floor venue space, including its iconic roof terrace and resident street food kitchens Dough Boys and Patty’s Barn, keeping partygoers fuelled from midday through to the late hours.
