Deer Shed Festival announces 2027 return and price freeze following successful 16th edition
Following a massive 16th edition in North Yorkshire, independent family favourite Deer Shed confirms its 2027 dates with early bird tickets held at 2026 rates
Thousands of festivalgoers gathered at Baldersby Park in Topcliffe, North Yorkshire, over the weekend as the independent, family-focused Deer Shed Festival marked its 16th year.
The family-owned event transformed the grounds into an expansive site of live music, theatre, comedy, and sports, maintaining its reputation as one of the North's most carefully curated all-ages cultural gatherings.
Following the conclusion of this year's event, organisers have confirmed that Deer Shed will return from July 23 - 26, with early bird tickets frozen at 2026 rates and now on sale.

This year’s musical lineup was anchored by main stage headliners Say She She, who opened the weekend with their signature disco-soul grooves, alongside London outfit Fat Dog and Nottingham post-punk duo Sleaford Mods.
Art-rock veterans Everything Everything closed out the main stage on Sunday, returning to headline the festival a decade after their first top-bill appearance in 2016.
Surprise performances across the weekend included a secret set from Cardiff punk group Panic Shack, alongside late-night programming featuring a silent Ceilidh and disco line dance hosted by the Hench Wenches.
Built around the 2026 creative theme ‘Into the Labyrinth’, the park featured a massive interactive maze as its central installation, complete with costumed actors and puzzle-solving routes across the site.
The festival’s Wilderwild woodland sector also saw expanded wellness facilities this year, incorporating cold-water plunges, wild swimming, forest bathing, and newly constructed saunas alongside evening fireside acoustic sets and light installations.
Reflecting on the 16th edition, Deer Shed Festival Director Megan Evans praised the community atmosphere across the weekend: “A big thanks to our returning Deer Shedders and those who joined us for the first time, for making this year one of the greatest Deer Sheds yet! The energy and enthusiasm they bring to each new edition makes the festival, and the work that has gone into it, so worthwhile.
“We are so grateful to everyone involved in making this event the special place it is - performers, crew, traders, and volunteers, hundreds of people who dedicate their time and expertise to turn this little pocket of Yorkshire into a wonderland every year.”
Early bird tier tickets for Deer Shed 2027 are available now via the festival's official website, with adult tier pricing held at £179.
