National Lottery & MVT launch Everywhere At Once: The UK’s biggest grassroots music weekend ever
While the gates to Worthy Farm may be closed this summer, the music isn't stopping over the weekend Glastonbury should have been taking place.
In a landmark move for the UK’s cultural landscape, a new national ‘festival on your doorstep’ is set to transform those local, hallowed venues into the main stage.
Taking place on what would have been the Glastonbury Festival weekend of June 26 to 28, hundreds of grassroots music venues across the country will unite for Everywhere At Once.
For one extraordinary weekend, venues from Inverness to Penzance will host hundreds of major artists, touring acts, and the most exciting emerging local talent in the spaces that have launched generations of musicians.
This will enable audiences to experience a diverse, curated programme of live music in the intimate rooms that are the heartbeat of their neighbourhoods.
The National Lottery has been a long-standing supporter of the grassroots music scene and is reaffirming its commitment to supporting the arts with this major partnership, which will be delivered between Music Venue Trust (MVT), Save Our Scene, and Association of Independent Promoters.

This unified front represents a significant shift for the sector, moving from individual gig listings to a collective cultural statement.
Mark Davyd, CEO of Music Venue Trust, views this as a defining moment for the network that underpins the entire UK music industry: "Seeing hundreds of venues come together across one weekend shows the true strength and scale of the network that underpins live music in the UK.
Thanks to the support from The National Lottery, Everywhere At Once can pair visibility with meaningful, practical support, putting real investment directly into venues while amplifying their collective voice."
The initiative serves as a reminder that our local venues, rather than the festival field, are often where the most impactful musical connections are made.
Davyd notes: "Together, this sends a clear message: live music doesn’t just happen in major cities or festival fields—it happens on our high streets, in our towns, and in the spaces communities rely on. This is what solidarity looks like in action."
Alastair Ruxton, Chief Impact Officer at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, emphasises that the reach of this event surpasses any singular geographical site: “National Lottery funding is the cornerstone of the arts across the country.
“The Everywhere At Once festival will have more stages, and highlight more artists, than any field can across the summer and create a uniting moment for communities up and down the country to come together."
Beyond the music, the weekend carries a philanthropic weight. Audiences will be given the opportunity to support a range of vital music charities at the point of purchase, with donations directed toward War Child, Nordoff and Robbins, Help Musicians UK, and Teenage Cancer Trust.
While the full nationwide line-up is still under wraps, the message for music lovers in West Yorkshire is clear: save the date.
With Leeds boasting one of the most vibrant grassroots scenes in the country, expect some of the city's most beloved musical haunts to be at the very centre of the Everywhere At Once map.
