Controversial speaker Jordan Peterson cancels upcoming Leeds arena date due to 'health issues'
Controversial clinical psychologist and author Jordan Peterson has cancelled his upcoming Leeds arena date due to “health issues”.
The Canadian speaker, known for his talks on the ‘crisis of masculinity’ in the West, was set to visit Leeds First Direct Bank Arena this Saturday (March 21).
The cancellation was announced in February, when the arena posted: “We regret to inform you that it has been confirmed that Jordan Peterson is currently dealing with health issues, and his recovery has been slow.
“While everyone remains hopeful that Mr Peterson will recover in time, doctors are unable to say when this might be, and he will therefore be unable to tour.”

Peterson was scheduled to begin his An Evening to Transform Your Life tour in Manchester tomorrow (Thursday) but all UK tour dates have now been cancelled, with no decision yet regarding a rescheduling of dates.
Those looking for ticket refunds are urged to contact their point of purchase.
A psychologist and best-selling author, Peterson shot to fame in 2016 as a vocal critic of ‘woke’ culture and gender identity laws.
His book, 12 Rules for Life, transformed him into a global mentor for millions - particularly young men - seeking discipline and traditional values.
However, he remains a polarising figure, with critics labelling his views on gender roles and climate change as reactionary and dangerous.
While his supporters view him as a defender of free speech, his presence often sparks protests and critics have argued his rhetoric serves as a “gateway” to far-right ideologies.
